Better than Chocolate Choir

Back in January 2007 twenty five women went along to Chew Valley School in Somerset, for the first session of a new singing group, ‘Better than Chocolate’. All of them, including local singer and conductor Caroline Lowe who was to lead the group, wondered what they had signed themselves up for. No previous singing experience was needed and there were no auditions: just a chance to sing, have fun and make some new friends. Since then the choir has steadily expanded to 50+ singers. The choir is delighted to have 2 professional and accomplished musicians guiding the way – Caroline Lowe, the conductor and musical director and Julie Payne as accompanist.
