Children & Youth

 

We believe that young people are an integral part of church life, and our social and discipleship activities reflect this. Young people are encouraged to explore, develop and use their gifts, and there are plenty of opportunities to do this at Chew Magna Baptist Church.

We encourage all of our young people take part in our services.

 

We also take the safety and welfare of our children and youth so we strictly abide to our  Safe to Grow policy

 

Chew Magna Baptist Church has a large team of volunteers who work hard to teach, support and encourage young people, building relationships with them and acting as positive role models.

We aim to equip them in all areas of life, but especially with their faith. Chew Magna Baptist Church has a Child Protection Policy based on the Baptist Union's Safe to Growdocument.

 

All our workers are DBS checked, have regular training and work within the practices outlined in the document.
